Structured Optimal Controller Design Using Bmi Formulation

چکیده
In this paper, a BB algorithm is used to designed structured controller that minimizes a matching model criteria. This non convex optimization problem is formulated as a BMI problem with additional variables allowing lower and upper bound estimation by LMI subproblems. A reduction of the additional variables is proposed to reduce the computation time. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach, this global optimization method is used to tune optimally the PID controller gains.
